While I'm Gone . . .
You've had a bit of exposure to Alice, and maybe you finished telling your story (fable/fairy-tale). Please make sure that it's really ready to do a recording and we'll make it into a video file when I get back so it can be uploaded to your blog.
Once Alice is telling the story you want it to tell, please download SCRATCH from MIT. Usually the first day I ask that students develop a program where a car moves across the screen, and by the third day the kids are making multi-level video games and using the programming language to make cool designs. What will you do with Scratch to demonstrate mastery?
This week it's pretty much all about Alice and Scratch. I don't want you spending any time on other things while I'm gone.
